beds24.com is an on-line accommodation reservation system that can be integrated into web sites.
Availability calendar's showing the actual availability of each room and reservation links are placed on web site pages. Guests can browse the calendar's searching for availability and select their desired dates of stay.
They are shown the best price available for this period and any optional items the accommodation may offer for reservation. A secure SSL encrypted page allows the guest to submit a reservation form to complete the reservation.
The system includes an optional email address confirmation, if this is turned on the guest receives an email with a code that must be entered to continue. This ensures the email address entered is correct and prevents nuisance reservations being made.
When the guest has entered all the required information correctly the reservation is complete. Both the guest and the host receive an email confirming the reservation details. The reserved dates are removed from the system so they cannot be double booked by another guest.
beds24.com facilitates the transfer of information to complete the reservation. It is in no way involved in the running of the accommodation or the payment of money between guest and accommodation. The accommodation manager has complete control over the information, availability and prices they show.
