At the Bremer Mansion you can live as the owners of the ironworks did. All 12 rooms in the house are distinct, each individually styled with period wallpapers. The spacious rooms with lovely wooden floors can accommodate even a larger family. There are several suites, a large Honeymoon suite overlooking the park, a library, a kitchen and a range of cozy meeting rooms.
The factory founder Joseph Bremer had the house built for his family in the 1860’s. The owner addressed the foundry laborers from the upstairs balcony on Fridays, giving his praise or reprimands, depending on the weekly results of the factory.
