Welcome to Guesthouse Hinatabokko. It is a house located in the area of Kuranami on a mountain at an altitude of 700 meters in Nagano City. There are no private houses in front of the house, and you can enjoy your private time in the scenery of wild birds flying around. The house is a renovated old Japanese house, but some rooms have low ceilings to keep the atmosphere as it was at that time. It is an old private house, so it is old, but I think you can spend your time feeling the old-fashioned life in Japan. The old folk house is made to be airy and comfortable in the summer, as the cold is harsh in winter. We have a large heater to keep you from getting cold during your stay, but it will be below freezing in the morning and evening, so please take precautions against the cold. It is a house in the countryside with nothing, so it is the best place to spend a relaxing time. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, so we recommend that you finish shopping before your stay. Driving at night in winter is dangerous, so we recommend checking in early. Check-in is possible from 2pm. There are also two bedrooms (16 tatami mats) and a living and dining room that are large enough for families and groups, so you can spend a relaxing time. 【Accommodation】 It is an old private house, but it has been renovated and the kitchen and water area have been renovated. The kitchen is large enough for families to cook. There is a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and other things you need for daily life. We have 2 double beds in the master bedroom and 4 sets of futons in the secondary bedroom. There is no partition between the master bedroom and the secondary bedroom, so please feel free to use the 16-mat room together. 【Notes】 There are rooms with low ceilings because they are unique to Japan. Please be aware of this before making a reservation. Because it is a mountainous area in Nagano Prefecture, the cold in the morning and evening is severe. We have a large heating device, but it may not be enough. Please come with a cold precaution. Driving in the morning and evening can also lead to snow accumulation and icy road surfaces. Please check in before sunset. Please be sure to come with studless tires. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. Please complete your shopping in advance.
