■ CONCEPT: A Place Where Time Intersects ■ Time is equally given to all. Life itself can be seen as an accumulation of time. These vertical layers of time transform into something new when they intersect with shared, horizontal time—through encounters, connections, and togetherness. When moments of time cross paths, something new is born. At THYME, a 100-year-old traditional house, you may encounter someone you've never met before. We created Kominka Inn THYME with the hope that it would be such a place. ■ FEATURE: Experiences Found Only Here ■ Artworks displayed in a space where the air from 100 years ago still lingers. A fragrant and colorful herb garden. A spacious wooden terrace offering panoramic views of the satoyama landscape. Unique programs you can only experience in Miyama. THYME offers a healing experience that you can’t find anywhere else. ■ Kominka Inn THYME: A Stay with Your Dog ■ Enjoy luxurious time in a relaxed kominka house, just like being at home, without worrying about others. The inn includes a dog run and dog café. Take a walk nearby while feeling the abundant nature of Miyama. Experience the slow flow of time you can’t find in everyday life. ■ Free Pick-up Service from the Nearest Station ■ For guests without a car or who are unable to drive, we offer a free pick-up service. Please take the JR Sagano Line from Kyoto Station to Sonobe Station. We will pick you up in a minivan (maximum capacity: 6 people). Travel time from Kyoto to Sonobe: approx. 30 minutes by limited express, 45 minutes by local train.
