Please take the JR Sagano Line from Kyoto Station to Sonobe Station. We will pick you up in a minivan (maximum capacity: 6 people). Travel time from Kyoto to Sonobe: approx. 30 minutes by limited express, 45 minutes by local train.

★ Entire old folk house charter plan (Recommended for family groups, up to 10 people) Lien Tono is a private countryside farmhouse in Tono, Iwate, surrounded by nature and deep silence. Guests can enjoy wood-fired sauna under the stars, fireside folktales told by the owner (a traditional storyteller), kayaking and SUP on a quiet dam lake, and short excursions to hidden shrines nearby. Meals are home-style and thoughtfully prepared. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available upon request, using seasonal vegetables and simple ingredients, such as vegan brown rice risotto and vegetable caponata. A peaceful retreat to experience rural Japan, local culture, and slow living. There is a permanent barbecue table in the garden, so you can enjoy BBQ empty-handed.
