The double glazed, air conditioned Rose Room is at ground level and has French windows opening on to a sheltered verandah adjoining our front rose garden. The ceiling is more than eleven feet high with two crystal chandeliers and furnished in late Victorian style but with fitted carpet, 32" LCD HD TV, desk, chair and DECT cordless direct dial phone.
Two Queen size beds with adjacent en-suite shower-room. A reverse cycle Hitachi heat pump provides air-conditioning in hot weather or heating in cold weather.

The Green Room is our budget room.
It's on the ground floor of Amber House with a ceiling more than eleven feet high. Double glazed against noise and cold,it has fitted carpet, digital safe, desk and chair, hair-dryer, 32" LCD Teletext colour TV (that also plays MP3 music files from your USB stick) and a direct dial cordless phone.
Two comfortable Queen size beds; shower cubicle and wash hand basin in the bedroom with the WC three steps away, opposite the Green Room's door.

Popular with those on a tight budget since no breakfast at all is included with this room option but you still have an 80% chance of being allocated a bedroom with full air conditioning in Amber House.
All bedrooms used for the `En suite - room only' tariff are fully double glazed with at least an en suite shower cubicle and wash hand basin + private WC. All have large High Definition LCD TV's and you can help yourself freely to ANZAC biscuits and drinks...

When Amber House is full and you trust our choice, we can place you in accommodation close by in an Overflow Room. Rooms & buildings vary but are clean & comfortable; our friends and colleagues will make you very welcome in their place.
Maximum occupancy usually 3 people and obviously facilities vary. Sometime twin beds with a shared shower room/WC but could be a double bed with en suite facilities... If you've booked an Overflow Room, we may be able to accommodate you in Amber House itself in an "Our Choice Room" at the same great price!
You let us pick your room - & you're prepared to move rooms within Amber House during the course of a stay of more than one night.
You could get lucky & stay in the Blue or Gold Rooms...
