Please note that the reason for cancellation does not impact the refund policy. The aim of our cancellation policy is to prevent last-minute cancellations (which are ever increasing) as the likelihood of rebooking the room on short notice is low. If you chose the non-refundable option to receive a discounted rate, or if you cancel a refundable booking less than 30 days prior to check-in, no refund will be issued regardless of the circumstances (with the exception of force majeure: Riot, coup, eathquake etc. - being sick is not a froce majeure for example). For example, if you cancel 4 days before your check-in date due to an accident, such as falling from your motorcycle in Bali, being sick or missing your boat to Gili, you are not entitled to a refund. In such cases, your travel insurance should cover the loss of the nights you booked. Non-refundable bookings and cancellations within 30 days of check-in are not eligible for refunds.
Travel insurance is recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances leading to cancellations.
