Bundeena is one of Sydney's best-kept holiday secrets. Here, you can have the spacious, family-bonding experience you desire, without the crowds of inner city beaches, or the long drives of most NSW coastal getaways. Bundeena is only a one hour drive (50km) from Sydney's CBD, yet it offers the same peace and tranquility of other more-frequented coastal regions. Once you experience the ease and lifestyle of Bundeena, you'll wonder why you spent so much time driving hours to find your holiday bliss all those years. 

The village is a delightful experience, with all the beauty of the Royal National Park that surrounds it. Sitting proudly on the waters of Port Hacking, there are endless activities, things to do and picturesque views here making it the ideal family destination. Bundeena, meaning 'sounds like thunder' in the indigenous language, is a village full of community spirit. It may only be an hour drive away from Sydney but here you feel as though you could be in a seaside village far, far away.

Our area boasts five very different beaches: Gunyah, Hordern, Jibbon, Bonnie Vale and Shelley. Aside from enjoying these for a swim (which are all within walking distance) there are many things to do for the activity-lovers, including paddle boarding, boogie boarding, kayaking and snorkeling, cycling, bowling and tennis at the local 'Bowlo', fishing (from either the beaches, sea or wharf), or sea fishing can also be organised through a local company. If hiking is more your style, you can walk one of the many coastal paths in the area, or explore the rock pools during low tide. For the culture seekers, we have many cafes, pottery and painting classes, as well as an art gallery. On the first Sunday of every month we also have an art trail where you can discover 20 local artists in their own galleries, and this also coincides with the Bundeena markets.

The Solveena home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family holiday house overlooking the sea. The rooms are spacious, and the living areas are open plan with 180 degree water views, giving the space a wide, sunlit, sprawling feel. This is the only holiday rental providing the full family holiday experience with four living areas and all the entertainment you could possibly want: Netflix, DVDs, music, over 30 board games, table tennis, dartboard, three kayaks and fishing equipment. Fully furnished and equipped with all linen and towels, the only thing you need to worry about here is whether to go swimming, kayaking or for a hike along the coast.  The most tranquil beach in Bundeena (Gunyah) is only a two minute stroll, and the other main beaches (Jibbon/Hordern) are an easy five minute walk. 

The kitchen is fully-equipped to enjoy a lengthy family holiday and cook at home every night. The master bedroom is spacious, with a queen bed, walk through robes, ensuite and chairs for relaxing away from the family. The second bedroom features a queen bed and built in robes, while the third bedroom has two single beds and built in robes (please note the single beds can be joined to make a king bed for an extra fee). There is also a separate laundry with washing machine and dryer, and second central bathroom. All rooms are on one floor and there are 4 separate entertaining/relaxation/dining/deck areas.

This 1.5BR executive apartment in a beautifully renovated period building offers easy access, on foot or by public transport, to the cafes, restaurants and shops of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Paddington. Celebrate a typical sunny Sydney day and walk from the apartment down to Wolloomooloo wharf and along the water's edge through the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House!
