We have seven fabulously appointed apartments to choose from depending on your group size and requirements. One very large One-Bedroomed apartment, two large studios, and four smaller but spacious studios which are equally comfortable and luxurious.

Tricky Woo Suite

The Tricky Woo Suite is our grandest apartment, situated on the ground floor, with large lounge, full kitchen, and sensational bedroom with a feature freestanding roll top bath.

Entry is via a small hallway which opens into the kitchen:

Kitchen:
You will have a large kitchen with lots of cabinets, Neff appliances including dishwasher, oven, / microwave, induction hob and fridge / freezer. The kitchen is completed with beautiful gold sink and composite marble worktops. You will find a good assortment of utensils, pans, manual espresso machine and kettle. There is also a full sized dining table with 4 chairs. Please note that there is no washing machine.

Lounge:
A very large sitting room with high ceilings, original features, stripped wooden floor, wo three seater settees, one of which is a sofa bed with thick mattress topper. There is lots of space to socialise with your guests, and a wide variety of antique and contemporary furniture. A variety of lighting choices will allow you to set the mood for your stay. There is also a large 58' Panasonic 4k Smart TV with Netflix, plus you can also stream your apps from your mobile devices.

Large Bedroom:
The grand bedroom features a gorgeous freestanding bath on a porcelian tiled platform, deep luxurious carpets, sensational gold velvet wing back headboard, fine linens, bath robes and large antique wardrobe.

Bathroom:
Compact bathroom includes small wash basin, walk in shower and WC. We provide fabulous organic, vegan and paraben free shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and hand / body lotion by H2K of Harrogate

The Herriot Suite / The Farnon Suite

The Herriot Suite and Farnon Suite are our largest studio apartments, and feature a sofa bed in the bedroom / living area which makes it best suited to 2 adults plus one or two children rather than additional adults.

You enter through a small hallway which has doors to the bathroom or lounge.

Lounge / Bedroom
This large room has a sofa bed which is probably best suited to additional children rather than adults as it is in the same room as the main bed. There is a gorgeous original fireplace (no longer in use), antique and contemporary furniture and a fabulously comfortable kingsize bed with illuminated timber feature wall behind. A variety of lighting choices will allow you to set the mood for your stay. These suites offer the best views out over the town, church and village square with beautiful tall georgian sash windows with wooden casements making them look very grand. There is a 58' Panasonic 4k Smart TV with Netflix, plus you can also stream your apps from your mobile devices.

Kitchen:
A compact but thoughtfully designed kitchen includes a Neff oven / microwave, induction hob, slim dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment. There is a beautiful gold sink with composite marble worktop and lots of cooking utensils, pans manual espresso machine etc. There is a small table for two set in the large georgian windows with lovely views overlooking the town, and beyond.

Bathroom:
The Bathroom is a good size with a roll top bath, with shower screen and shower above. There is a handy vanity unit with sink and drawers beneath plus WC. We also provide fabulous organic, vegan and paraben free shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and hand / body lotion by H2K of Harrogate.

The Darrowby Suite / The Drovers Suite

The Darrowby Suite and Drovers Suite are our medium sized studio apartments. They are perfect for 2 guests with lots of space to relax and enjoy your stay.

You enter through a small vestibule with doors to the lounge / bedroom or bathroom

Lounge / Bedroom:
This large room has a feeling of space as you enter, with deep pile carpets, antique and contemporary furniture and a fabulously comfortable kingsize bed with illuminated timber feature wall behind. A variety of lighting choices will allow you to set the mood for your stay. There is also a table and two chairs to enjoy your meals with views out over the village and beyond. There is a 58' Panasonic 4k Smart TV with Netflix, plus you can also stream your apps from your mobile devices.

Kitchen:
A thoughtfully designed galley style kitchen includes a Neff oven / microwave, induction hob, slim dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment. There is a beautiful gold sink with composite marble worktop and lots of cooking utensils, pans, manual espresso machine etc.

Bathroom:
The Bathroom features a roll top bath, with shower screen and shower above. There is a contemporary wooden shelf unit with oval wash basin plus WC. We also provide fabulous organic, vegan and paraben free shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and hand / body lotion by H2K of Harrogate.

Note: The Darrowby Suite feature the original window shutters in place of Roman blinds which are used in the other apartments, where the window shutters are no longer operational

The Austin Suite / The Tristan Suite

The Austin Suite and Tristan Suite are our standard sized studio apartments. They are perfect for 2 guests to relax and enjoy your stay.

You enter through an inner hallway with doors to the lounge / bedroom or bathroom

Lounge / Bedroom:
This good sized room has a small dining table and chairs for two guests, antique and contemporary furniture and a fabulously comfortable kingsize bed with illuminated timber feature wall behind. A variety of lighting choices will allow you to set the mood for your stay. There is a 58' Panasonic 4k Smart TV with Netflix, plus you can also stream your apps from your mobile devices.
From your bed, you have wonderful views over the stone rooftops below, and beautiful countryside beyond.

Kitchen:
A compact but thoughtfully designed galley kitchen includes a Neff Oven / Microwave, induction hob, slim dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment. There is a beautiful gold sink with composite marble worktop and lots of cooking utensils, pans manual espresso machine etc.

Nydsley Hall

The Lodge Suite
With a private entrance and secluded garden, the 2-bedroom lodge suite is the perfect hideaway. The large lounge diner, with its huge snuggly sofas and mid-century elegance, leads out to the private garden with decked area, lawn and hot tub.
2 Bedrooms (1 x King, 1 Double), Bathroom with roll top bath, Kitchen, Lounge / Dining Room, Private garden with hot tub.

The Grande Suite
With its huge open-plan kitchen and living space, the Grande Suite will take your breath away. It’s the perfect choice for a sophisticated gathering. The high-spec and well equipped Kesseler Kitchen is the perfect social hub with its central island and dining area – open to the uber stylish lounge with deep, comfortable sofas and Smart TV with Netflix.
The front garden is the real icing on the cake in this suite, and it also boasts a hot tub in the more secluded side garden.
2 Bedrooms (1 x Superking En-Suite with roll top bath, 1 x Double), Extra large Bathroom, Large open plan Kitchen / Dining Room, Lounge, Large lawned garden plus private garden area with hot tub.

The Terrace Suite
With its gloriously high ceilings and air of elegance, the Terrace Suite is sure to impress. The double aspect lounge diner overlooking both the gardens and Pateley Bridge is a charming space. With elegant designer Italian sofas, mid-century antique furniture and original abstract artwork it’s an achingly cool room.
2 Bedrooms (1 x Kingsize En-Suite with Dressing Room, 1 x Double), Bathroom with roll top bath, Lounge / Dining area, Kitchen, Huge terrace with views over the river and countryside.

The Penthouse
With the sweeping staircase up, and vaulted ceilings, the penthouse is an impressive space. The ultra-modern lounge / kitchen / diner, with designer furnishings is supremely comfortable. The sleek Kesseler Kitchen is very well equipped; with everything you need to cook up a culinary feast. There’s a fabulous dining area for 4, and super stylish sofa where you can chill out for an evening of board games or films.

The Nook at Nydsley Hall (see separate listing)
The Nook is a spacious basement apartment with private entrance at ground level, and boasts a private patio with hot tub.

Luxury Amenities Throughout. Wonderfully soft white linens, towels, bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer are all provided for your comfort in every bedroom. And in each bathroom, you’ll find gorgeously scented, vegan and paraben-free toiletries which have been created locally by H2K of Harrogate.

Guest Access
Guest access is via key safe at the entrance. You will be sent your unique entry codes by email (or message system on third party sites).

Beds:
Our beds are extremely luxurious, and you are guaranteed an excellent nights sleep. Please note that it is not possible to make the doubles or kings into separate smaller beds.

Heating:
The property has individually controlled gas central heating. Each apartment has a nest controller in the lounge of your suite.

Hot Tubs:
Three of our apartments have hot tubs. Please respect our neighbours and other guests by only using the from 9.00am until 9.00 pm.

Parties:
Pateley Bridge is a very quiet rural village and sound travels at night. For this reason we do not recommend anyone makes a booking if they feel it would be difficult to keep their music and other noise at a level which would not cause inconveneince to other apartments within the hall, and our neighbours.

Parking:
The Garden, Grande and Terrace Suite have two parking spaces.
The Lodge and Penthouse suites have 1 parking space.

Pets:
One small to medium sized, house trained dog is welcome, if advised at the time of booking.
Please advise us prior to arrival if bringing pets as there is a small surcharge of £30 per pet. (per stay, not per night)

Smoking:
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the property, A substantial deep cleaning charge will be payable plus any damages to furnishings must be paid for. (see Rental Agreement for details)

Short Breaks:
Accepted all year round.

Facilities for Babies and Young Children:
We have a high chair and travel cot for babies available and should be requested prior to arrival.

WiFi
We have excellent WiFi throughout the property. The code for the Wifi will be emailed to you, and is also in the Welcome Pack located in the lounge upon arrival.

This room has a comfortable double sofa bed with luxury mattress topper which transforms into the 5th bedroom, if needed for larger groups.

First Floor

Hallway
The beautifully appointed staircase ascends gracefully up to the grand landing on the first floor with contemporary feature chandelier.

Lounge
A large sophisticated lounge / reception room with stunning original plasterwork ceiling, art deco fireplace combined with retro furniture, huge comfortable sofas, fabulous lighting. And 50” Samsung TV. We have also created a kitsch cocktail bar area to fully enjoy the exceptional surroundings together.

Kitchen & Dining Room
Next door is the truly exceptional ‘Kesseler’ kitchen overlooking historic Mickelgate, thoughtfully fitted with Neff appliances, wine fridge and every utensil imaginable for any culinary occasion. The rustic antique French table seats ten guests on opulent royal blue velvet chairs. There is also a Bose sound system to create the ambience for a sensational evening in this glorious social space.

Separate WC and Utility Room
Opposite the kitchen you’ll find a utility room with washer dryer, ironing facilities, separate WC room and hand basin.

Large Family Bathroom
The house bathroom showcases our magnificent hand-made ‘Witt & Berg’ freestanding double-ended copper bath, with zinc plated interior and matt black exterior, set against peacock blue tiles, monochrome floors and a traditional high level toilet. Everything is beautifully finished with matt black and gold accessories… You will definitely be in ‘style-heaven’ in this bathroom!

Bedroom 1 - Large En-Suite
The final entrance on this floor leads through an elegant arch into the jaw-dropping, glamorous master bedroom, which is fully panelled and finished with ‘Little Greene’ matt charcoal paintwork surrounding stunning ‘Farrow and Ball’ wallpaper panels. The sumptuous velvet super-king bed sits upon solid bamboo flooring that sweeps out into the hallway and through into the lounge.
This bedroom has a gorgeous en-suite shower room, a walk-in wardrobe, a huge full-length gold mirror, stunning French antique furniture, and wonderfully soft white linens, towels, bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer.

Upper Hallway
Up the sweeping staircase again and you will be taken 400 years back in time as the top landing leads you to three quirky and magical bedrooms:

Bedroom 2 – Large Kingsize
A huge king-size bed with deep studded tall velvet headboard and luxurious bedding. The room also features a walk in wardrobe, antique furniture, two large sash windows overlooking Micklegate, and fabulous contemporary lighting.

Bedroom 3 - Twin
A magical twin bedroom with exposed beams, French antique side tables, a full length mirror with hanging space, and enchanting lighting. A central sash window overlooks Micklegate.

Bedroom 4 – Double
Another magical bedroom with exposed beams. Features a double bed with luxurious tall studded velvet headboard, French antique furniture and some interesting ‘nooks and crannies’.
There is also a full length mirror and hanging space, enchanting lighting and quietly situated at the rear of the property.

Family Shower Room
Our very large house shower room features a large walk in slate shower, beautiful peacock tiles, sink vanity unit with matt black and gold accessories throughout. There is also a large French antique marble topped wash stand with lots of drawers and a traditional high level toilet.

Additional Information

Heating:
The property is heated by efficient gas central heating throughout the first and second floors, with independent controls for each floor. The lower floors are heated by electric heating.
We set the thermostats at a constant, comfortable 20 degrees C. Please advise us prior to arrival if you would prefer a higher or lower temperature.

Pets:
Two small, house trained dogs are welcome to bring their owners. Dog bowls are provided under the kitchen sink.
Please advise us prior to arrival if bringing pets as there is a small surcharge of £30 per pet (per booking, not per night).

Parking:
There is lots of short stay street-parking either outside the house on Micklegate, opposite on Prior Road, or behind on Toft Green whilst you load or unload your vehicle. These are for a maximum of two hours.
Additionally Micklegate parking in the evening is just £2 from 6.00pm until 8.00am.
We recommend parking your car as soon as you have unloaded so you can forget about it. There are three car parks within 5 minutes walk, the closest is Nunnery Lane which is £22 per 24 hours depending on how many nights you are staying for.

Smoking:
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the property, A substantial deep cleaning charge will be payable plus any damages to furnishings must be paid for. This is not limited to the standard deposit charge. (see terms and conditions)

Short Breaks:
Accepted all year round.

Facilities for Babies and Young Children:
We have a high chair for babies located in the walk in storage room in the kitchen (closest to the windows). A travel cot is also available and should be requested prior to arrival.
We also provide electrical socket protectors. Unfortunately it is not possible to provide a stair gate due to the large size of our main staircase, and the wide space between spindles on the top landing. It is therefore essential that you keep a close eye on babies and young children at all times, and remember to close doors as you enter and leave rooms.

WiFi
We have excellent WiFi throughout the property. It is also designed to fall back to a strong 4g signal in the event of any drop out in service for any technical reason. The code for the WIfI is in the Welcome Pack located in the kitchen upon arrival.

Lounge
Our large lounge is the perfect place to relax together with high quality double sofa bed, and a 50” Samsung smart television with Netflix, traditional wooden floors, and contemporary artwork.

Bedroom 1 – Superking Bedroom with En-Suite Bathroom
This large bedroom features a gorgeous velvet bed, fabulous mattress with extra deep topper and luxurious linen bedding, for a glorious nights sleep. There are antique drawer units and hanging space.

The en-suite bathroom has a luxurious roll top bath, and a traditional high level toilet.
You will have ample luxuriously soft towels, and our gorgeously fragranced vegan and paraben-free toiletries are made locally by H2K of Harrogate.

Bedroom 2 – Double Bedroom with En-Suite Bathroom
This large bedroom features a gorgeous velvet bed, fabulous mattress with extra deep topper and luxurious linen bedding, for a glorious nights sleep.

Exposed ceiling beams and quirky, handmade soft furnishings give this characterful room a homely feel. There’s a large wall-mounted Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. Plus a BOSE 500 sound system featuring Amazon Alexa voice control.

Kitchen:
Superbly equipped Kesseler kitchen with Neff integrated fridge, freezer, double wine cooler, dishwasher, five pan-induction hob, extractor hood, two ovens, and every utensil you can imagine.
Extra large dining table with luxurious Forest Green Velvet dining chairs to seat up to 10 guests. The heated porcelain slate floor keeps you cosy.

Bedroom 5/ Lounge 2:
This versatile ‘room with a view’ which can be dressed as a double bedroom or as a separate ‘snug’ room for smaller groups who don’t require the 5th bedroom. As a bedroom you will enjoy the super comfortable sofa bed with Pocket sprung mattress, plus a wall mounted smart TV with Freeview and Netflix.
Full length sliding doors open out into the garden, where you can step out into the hot tub and enjoy the breath-taking views across Wensleydale.

Bathroom:
A stylish bathroom incorporating toilet, bath with power shower, tiled in a slate porcelain. The washer dryer is hidden in a bespoke unit beneath the basin.

Terrace:
Our fabulous terrace features stunning views of Wensleydale, a hot tub and lots of decked space to relax in the sun or have family barbecues

First Floor:

Bedroom 1:
This beautifully appointed room overlooks the village and features a bespoke floating king-sized bed. There’s also a wall mounted smart TV with Freeview and Netflix.
En-Suite Shower room
Small but perfectly formed with slate porcelain tiles, a shower cubicle with thermostatically controlled square rain shower head and incorporated hand-held shower, a wall mounted basin and soft close toilet.

Bedroom 2:
This luxurious twin room overlooks the quaint village and features a relaxing window seat to admire the view, luxurious Hypnos twin beds, plus wall mounted 32” Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix.

Bedroom 3:
With sweeping views across the open fells, beautiful walnut furniture and lighting from Heals, ultra-comfortable Hypnos double mattress and 32” wall mounted Smart TV.

Family Bathroom:
A spacious and stylish slate porcelain tiled shower room has a double size walk in shower with rain head and hand-held shower, wall hung contemporary basin with vanity storage.

Bedroom 4:
An elegantly furnished room with designer Hulsta furniture throughout. wall mounted smart 40” Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix.
Adding to the Wow factor of this room is the corner freestanding bath on a raised plinth, a great place to relax with a glass of something bubbly, be transported to a world of pure bliss!

Parking
Off-road parking across the road on the lay-by on a first come first served basis. Plenty of additional parking is available in the streets near the property, however we do not recommend parking directly outside the house for your safety as it is a blind corner and some vehicles approach it quite quickly.

Garden
A real feature of the property with the most stunning views of Wensleydale. There is decking and a hot tub, the most wonderful place to relax whatever the weather. Outdoor table and chairs, loungers and a charcoal barbecue means you can sit out and enjoy an alfresco meal.

Hot Tub
For hygiene reasons, we clean and refill the hot tub before each guest arrives. Our contractor fills the hot tub with clean warm water, however it takes a few hours to reach it’s optimum temperature so please be advised that it may not get to this heat on the first evening of your stay, however on each subsequent day it will be kept at the ideal temperature. Replacing the thermal lid after use will help it maintain this temperature. We ask that you moderate any noise whilst enjoying the hot tub, and please note it can only be used between 9.00am and 9.00pm to respect the privacy of our neighbours.

Heating
Underfloor heating plus wood burning stove in the lounge. The cottage is heated throughout the 1st and 2nd floors with individual infra-red panels which are remote controlled.

Snug Room / Bedroom 5
Please advise if you would like the sofa bed in the downstairs snug/bedroom 5 making up for guests.

Smoking Policy
We have a strict No Smoking Policy. A substantial deep cleaning charge plus the replacement cost of any damage to furnishings must be paid for. (see Rental Agreement for details)

Location

Aysgarth Nook is situated in the Picture-Postcard Wensleydale village of Aysgarth, cosied up beside the fabulous Hamilton’s Tearooms and just a 2-minute walk away from the George and Dragon Pub, serving hearty home cooked meals and fine ales, this delightful holiday let really is blessed with its ideal location. The infamous Aysgarth Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the North, and where Kevin Costner once frolicked with Maid Marion on the film set for ‘Robin Hood Prince of Thieves’ are just a short walk away.
The falls attract visitors all year round, indeed they truly demonstrate their magnificence during the wetter months. Artists, photographers and writers flock here to capture the imagery and the drama in their own senses. Ruskin, Turner and Wordsworth were three such visitors, and all enthused about the falls’ outstanding beauty.
Aysgarth itself sits within the boundaries of the awe-inspiring Yorkshire Dales National Park and is close to the pretty market towns of Leyburn and Hawes with their plethora of quirky, independent shops, restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs. The imposing Castle Bolton is a 4-mile hike or a short drive away. The infamous castle is steeped in history due to its Mary Queen of scots provenance, a must for a visit where tourists can watch a birds of prey display, partake in a little archery, refuel in the welcoming café or languish in the decadent gardens on warm, sunny days. Luxury Amenities Throughout. Wonderfully soft white linens, towels, bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer are all provided for your comfort in every bedroom. And in each bathroom, you’ll find gorgeously scented, vegan and paraben-free toiletries which have been created locally by H2K of Harrogate.

Guest Access
Guest access is via secure keypad at the entrance, and a unique digital entry sytem to your suite. You will be sent your unique entry codes by email (or message system on third party sites).

Heating:
The property is heated by state of the art infrared panels. We set the thermostats at a constant, comfortable 20 degrees C, and this can be adjusted to your desired setting in the entry hallway of your suite.

Pets:
One small to medium sized, house trained dog is welcome, if advised at the time of booking. A dog bowl is provided under the sink.
Please advise us prior to arrival if bringing pets as there is a small surcharge of £30 per pet. (per stay, not per night)

Parking:
The closest car park is Q-Park, Albion Street (a few minutes walk away).

Smoking:
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the property, A substantial deep cleaning charge will be payable plus any damages to furnishings must be paid for. (see Rental Agreement for details)

Short Breaks:
Accepted all year round.

Facilities for Babies and Young Children:
We have a high chair and travel cot for babies available and should be requested prior to arrival.

WiFi
We have excellent WiFi throughout the property. The code for the Wifi will be emailed to you, and is also in the Welcome Pack located in the lounge upon arrival.

The Skylodge Apartment:

This one-bedroom loft apartment boasts a generously proportioned and state of the art Kesseler Kitchen with Neff appliances, and silestone worktops.
The Superking Bedroom is designed specifically so that you can lie back and stargaze through the roof window.
Meanwhile the lounge/diner with 60-inch 4k smart TV, a Ligne Roset bentwood sofa and a comfortable yet stylish double sofa-bed, enjoys magnificent views over the top of the ancient woodland of the Hillthorpe Estate.
The bathroom with freestanding bath is also a wonderful spot for taking a soak and gazing out over the natural landscape.
The whole place oozes high-end serenity. It’s a perfect hideaway but only a 15 minute walk away from 3 well established local pubs, and right on the doorstep of the glorious Yorkshire countryside.
