This 400-year-old mansion is said to have been built in 1601, and eight years older than Himeji Castle, is also the birthplace of Kokuni Tetsujuro, a local hero who once helped farmers in the Harita Rebellion. It is also a building that contributed to regional medical care from the Meiji era to the Showa era, and there are exhibits that remind you of the past, such as old medical books, signboards, and house call bags from that time.
