About Mahakala Center

A homely eco retreat is available for private events and retreats in our center, situated in a small seaside village in Montenegro cradled by mountains and the sea. It was designed and built for yoga, dance, sound, meditation, wellbeing and spiritual exploration. We offer fully plant-based catering, housekeeping, and equipment for your classes. Our sanctuary provides a space for your guests to rest and explore their passions.

Our venue is designed to provide a haven for connection, yoga, and mindfulness, allowing you to effortlessly host your retreats without concerns about equipment, food, or accommodation. The venue was built to offer a meaningful experience for guests to come and retreat away from their everyday life. We’re not about luxury; we’re about creating a down-to-earth venue with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Following sustainability principles, we source spring water from the mountains, obtain food from local farmers, and harness solar power.

INCLUSIONS for our retreat venue hires

  • Accommodation at Mahakala (6 rooms – 13 people in total +1)
  • 2 large vegan buffets served per day at 10:00 & 17:00 (intermittent fasting schedule)
  • All facilities at Mahakala Retreats: yoga shala with a sea view (max 18 people), aerial yoga studio (with 8 aerial hammocks), restaurant & dining area, outdoor hammock lounge, spa room for massages & treatments, availability to Mahakala Clinic
  • All equipment – yoga props including mats, straps, blocks, music instruments, sound system & projector
  • Fruit, herbal teas, and spring water during the day
  • Photo Media package of the retreat space for marketing purposes
  • Wifi, air conditioning & heating
