STAY NEAR BATH

The School Rooms Estate is situated in the picturesque village of Box and is within easy reach of the World Heritage city of Bath (6 miles). Providing accommodation for up to 20 guests - it’s the perfect hub for families and groups looking to relax by the pool or explore the endless list of local attractions! The main apartment is positioned on the ground floor of a beautiful, Georgian family residence and sleeps up to 12. Along with two self contained lodges, sleeping up to 4 guests in each.

The space
Upon entering The School Rooms you’ll be greeted by our recently refurbished, fully equipped kitchen; complete with marble flooring, a large 5 burner range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine.
To the left of the kitchen is a very generous (4x10meters) open-plan lounge and dining room. An impressive, flexible space that boasts plenty of traditional features. You’ll be able to make use of the three comfy sofas (these are also sofa beds), large dining table, flat screen Sony TV, sound system, pool table, blackboard and board games.

Sleeping arrangements:
Main apartment - there are 3 bedrooms and 3 sofa beds, sleeps 12
- 1 x Twin Room with en suite
- 2 x Double Rooms with en suite
- 3 x Double Sofa Beds (in main living area)

Two Separate Lodges - studio apartments with kitchenette and ensuite, sleeps 4 in each
- 1 x Double bed
- 1 x Sofa bed

Outside:
There is an alfresco dining area at the front of The School Rooms - a perfect spot for Afternoon Tea or a BBQ (BBQ and gas can be supplied on request).
The heated swimming pool, hot tub and Mediterranean style terrace creates a social haven which offers something for everyone to enjoy. These facilities are conveniently located in between The School Rooms and The Lodges and are for your exclusive use.
The swimming pool is open April- November and the hot tub is open all year round.

Other things to note
COVID-19:
To ensure the safety of our guests and staff we follow the current guidelines from the government and local council.
In the case of a national lockdown or a lockdown in the local area to the property, bookings can be cancelled by the guests with a full refund. 
Buses run to Bath or Chippenham up to 4 times per hour.
Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request.
The Neighbourhood - Box has plenty to offer, an Indian restaurant just 100m away, three pubs all serving good food and a wide array of small convenience shops.
This is a great location if exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, visiting Lacock, Badminton, Bath, Bristol or working at the MOD in Corsham.
