Built in 1906 the 2 bedroom Upper Blacksmith Guest House is located in the quiet lakeside village of Port Albert. It is located next to the Port Albert Inn and just a 15 minute drive north of Goderich, Ontario. It is just a 6-8 minute walk to the sandy beach. It is a 1 minute walk to conservation area, the waterfalls, and the foot bridge. The Port Albert General Store and the Village Pub is located across the street. Please note that there is a lower unit at this property. Includes a kitchen with dishes, (no dish washer), patio, as well as a firepit for use. We provide the camp fire wood for camp fires. The beach in Port Albert is a beautiful, quiet, sandy beach with amazing sunsets! The Nine Mile River meanders through the tiny village of Port Albert. The river is a 1 minute walk from the cottage and is very popular with anglers. Wireless internet, Satellite TV, BBQ. We provide the propane for the bbq. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed. The Port Albert General Store and the Pub provides cold drinks, tasty food, fresh produce, gas and convenience items. Just bring your food and personal items because all bedding, linens, towels, soaps is provided for 4 people. We allow a maximum of 6 people at this cottage. $19 per night per person over 4 people. It is a 1 minute walk to the waterfalls, the foot bridge, and Conservation Area in the tiny lake-side village of Port Albert. Located across the street is the Port Albert General Store and the Village Pub. It is a 6-8 minute walk to the sandy, public beach. Next door is the Port Albert Inn. Access to the Nine Mile River is a 1 minute walk. This cottage has kitchen facilities (no dishwasher) and propane BBQ (we provide the propane). It has a large balcony. Please contact us regarding your breakfast options as we are often able to provide breakfast next door at the main Inn. There is a firepit for your use. Free campfire wood. Walk to the sandy public beach or drive and park for free at the sands edge. The public beach is quiet and has amazing sunsets! Wireless internet, satellite TV.
