Shamrock Cottage cottage is located near the sany shores of Lake Huron. It features a large private garden and third story loft with balcany that provides amazing views of views of Lake Huron and the surrounding farm land. It has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is a 5-12 minute drive from two sandy public beaches with free parking at the sands edge. The cottage has a deck and patio and fire pit area with free firewood. It has full kitchen facilities (no dishwasher) and large bright spacious commom room. This cottage has wireless internet, satellite TV, washer and dryer. It also has a kitchen with two fridges, deep freeze, propane stove, and BBQ. Propane is provided for the BBQ. Lower level has 3 rooms with privacy curtians instead of doors and includes 3 double beds and 3 single bunks in each room. Main level has 1 bedroom with 1 queen, and 1 double bed. Second level has 3 bedrooms with queen bed in each room. Third floor loft has 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 single bed. There is a bathroom on each floor. All bedding, linens, towels, soaps are provided. Well mannered pets welcome. Additional pet fee of $19 per night per pet applies.
The Shamrock Cottage is a 5 minute drive north of Port Albert, Ontario. In Port Albert you will find the Port Albert General Store, the village Pub, the Port Albert Inn, the waterfalls and sandy, public beach. The Port Albert General store sells produce, ice cream, fishing tackle, beer and wine, gas, and take out food. It is a 20-25 minute drive to the towns of Goderich and Kincardine.
Ashfield Park and the Amberley General Store is a 12 minute drive north of the Cottage. Ashfield Park has a sandy public beach. The Amberley General Store has groceries, LCBO outlet, gas, coffee, sandwiches, and hardware.
Open-year round the Port Albert Inn and Cottages is located in the quaint village of Port Albert near the sandy shores of Lake Huron. We offer rooms and nightly cottage rentals. A tasty home-cooked breakfast is avail;able for the room guests staying at the Port Albert Inn. All the attractions in Port Albert are not more than a short walk within the tiny village. The Nine Mile River meanders through the valley and is popular with fishermen. The Conservation Area, the waterfalls, the foot bridge, the fish ladder, and the sandy public beach are all popular attractions. Guests really enjoy wandering around in Port Albert's park-like setting and taking in the natural setting! The historic Inn was built in 1842. There are many attractions in the area.
