You could use a little economical holiday close by where you can take in the abundant nature and the fresh air in our tiny, little valley on the shores of Lake Huron!  We have many parks and hiking trails in the area!  The Port Albert Inn and Cottages provides you that safe, healthy holiday!

**Due to the Covid-19 virus the Port Albert Inn and Cottages has adopted procedures to keep our guests and staff protected against the Covid-19 virus. We have adopted vigorous cleaning and disinfecting proceedures.  Guests staying at the Inn and our staff will be expected to practice 6 ft social distancing and regular hand washing.  It is advised to wear a mask when 6 feet distancing is not possible. **


Built in 1842, the historic Port Albert Inn is located a 6-8 minute walk to sandy shores of Lake Huron and less than a minute walk from the waterfalls and conservation area in Port Albert, Ontario.  This original Coach House Inn features 6 bedrooms on the second level of the main building.   There are 5 queen beds, 1 double beds.   Sleeps 12 people.  We allow a maximum of 18 people to stay at this property.  There are ensuite bathrooms with showers in 4 of the rooms.  7 bathrooms in total.  There is a full kitchen with propane range and oven, 2 fridges, a deep freeze, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and all the standard kitchen utensiles.  There is no dishwasher.  At the Inn there is a large lounge with original cherry bar, a sun room, satellite TV and seating for 40 people.  There is a hot tub, covered deck, large yard, and a fire pit.  We provide the fiewood for the fire pit.  There is a BBQ.  We provide the propane for the BBQ.   All bedding linens, towels and soaps are provide for 14 people.  We allow well mannered pets at this vacation rental.  Additional pet fee of $19 per pet pet night applies.  There is an additional fee of $19 per person per night over 14 people.  The property borders the conservation area with the water falls and the Nine Mile River with excellent fishing opportunities.  Sunset Beach in Port Albert is a 6-8 minute walk and has free parking.  Open year-round the Port Albert General Store and Pub is located across the street from the Inn.  The store sells fresh produce, gas, take-out food, convienience items and fishing tackle.  The Pub serves tasty food and cold drinks.  If you are looking for accomodation for up to 40 people the Black Smith Guest House and the 6 bedroom Mill House Cottage by the Falls sleeps 17 people in beds and is located next to the Inn.  We look forward to having you as our guest in our quiet, little river valley on Ontario's sandy west coast!

Open-year round the  Port Albert Inn and Cottages is located in the quaint village of Port Albert near the sandy shores of Lake Huron.  We offer rooms and nightly cottage rentals as well as kitchen and dining facilities and gathering space for up to 40 people.   We host and provide accommodation for quiet getaways, small weddings, retreats, parties, and family vacations.  All together we can accommodate up to 70 people.  A tasty home-cooked breakfast is included for the bnb room guests at the Inn.  All the attractions in Port Albert are not more than an 8 minute walk within our tiny village. The Nine Mile River meanders through the valley and is popular with fishermen.  The Conservation Area, the waterfalls,  the foot bridge, the fish ladder, and the sandy public beach are all popular attractions.  Guests really enjoy wandering around in Port Albert's park-like setting and taking in the natural setting!  Our Inn which was built in 1842 is across the street from the Port Albert General Store and the village Pub.  There are many tourist attractions within a short drive of Port Albert.  We are just a 2 hour drive west from the GTA and 15 minute drive north of Goderich, Ontario.  We hope to have you as our guest soon on Ontario's sandy west Coast!
