TATEGU-YA used to be the house of a Japanese door carpenter.
This 50-year old dwelling went through complete transformation,
but reminiscence of a carpenter’s studio was intentionally kept.

In addition, we engaged local wood sculptor KOMEI TANAKA
to curate and install his work specifically for this house.
Artwork viewing is exclusive for staying guests only.
