How to arrive

Car: Torroella de Montgrí and L Estartit (there are 6 km between L Estartit and Torroella) are situated in the heart of the Costa Brava, with easy access from other coastal resorts and also from Girona, Barcelona and the French border, along the AP-7 motorway (exits 5 or 6).

Bus: SARFA and AMPSA companies run regular bus services from Barcelona, Girona and the main towns on the Costa Brava.

Train: All trains running between Barcelona and the French border stop at Flaçà railway station, 16 km from Torroella de Montgrí. Express trains such as the TALGO only stop at Girona and Figueres, 45 and 39 km respectively from L Estartit. In Figueres Vilafant and in Girona there is AVE station, it connects with Paris, Barcelona and Madrid with high speed system.

Airplane: The nearest international airports to Torroella de Montgrí and L Estartit are Girona-Costa Brava and Barcelona. Girona-Costa Brava airport is 51 km from Torroella de Montgrí, and Barcelona airport is situated 150 km from Torroella de Montgrí.

Ship: The marina and fishing port in L Estartit are in a privileged location, protected by the Montgrí coast and situated on the cruiser route linking France Barcelona Balearic Islands Southern Spain. Estartit Sailing Club, founded in 1961, is situated right in the middle of the harbour, on an area of 16.000 m2 with over 700 moorings, facilities for boats of up to 25 metres in length, wintering services, sailing school and other sports amenities.
