The apartment has been fully refurbished and it features on the upper floor a Master bedroom with direct views to the church, a double bedroom and a shower room with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. On the lower floor, it has a large living area with a dining table, sofa and an open plan fully equipped kitchen.
All rooms have blackout curtains for a comfortable night of sleep. 
The reverse cycle aircon keeps the apartment t at the perfect temperature summer and winter.
Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tejo river. Its name comes from the Arabic Al-hamma, meaning fountains or baths. It includes the freguesias (parishes) of São Miguel, Santo Estêvão, São Vicente de Fora and part of two streets of Freguesia da Sé: Rua do Barão and Rua São João da Praça. It contains many important historical attractions, with many Fado bars and restaurants.  The great 1755 Lisbon Earthquake did not destroy the Alfama, which has remained a picturesque labyrinth of narrow streets and small squares. Lately, the neighbourhood has been invigorated with the renovation of the old houses and new restaurants where Fado—Portuguese typical melancholy music—can be enjoyed.

Este é um apartamento duplex muito bom localizado em uma posição privilegiada na histórica Alfama, com vista para uma bela igreja. Situado no segundo andar de um belo prédio com excelentes vistas. Sala de estar com sala de estar, cozinha (com máquina de lavar louça) e área de jantar ao nível da entrada e os quartos e casa de banho com cabina de duche ao nível do chão no piso superior. Todos os quartos têm janelas com vidros duplos, o que lhes confere muita luz e garantem noites tranquilas. O interior é moderno e elegante. Há ar condicionado em ambos os quartos e também na sala de estar no térreo.

Please note that this apartment is in the heart of Alfama. During the month of JUNE Lisbon celebrates with daily street parties in Alfama. These last most of the night and the streets are filled with stalls selling Grilled Sardines, Sangria, Wine & Beer. If you like a good street party you could not be in a better location. If you are looking for a quite holiday this is not the place to stay during the month of June.
