Rooms and Rates

At Eve’s Garden we offer seven distinct hand-built rooms. Sleep under a big domed ceiling, four foot mini-vaults, or a big barrel vault. Each unique room has arches, bright colors, and special touches. With the thick insulating papercrete construction each is very private. Try them all!

Each exclusive room has a heating / cooling system, mini-fridge, a private bath, fresh flowers from Kate’s organic greenhouse. Most have bedside lamps, a reading chair, and a romantic faux fire place. Three have private patios.

Your room rental includes a self-serve gourmet breakfast to get you off and running on your way to the Big Bend National Park or your drive through what feels like being in an old western movie.

Six of the seven open onto an interior courtyard with a singing fountain. The seventh, the Orchard Room, is just off our small fruit orchard.
Garden
The Garden Room has classical vaults, arches, and domes which conspire to create the feeling of old Mexico with a contemporary flair for color. As with most of our construction, it was built with papercrete bricks. It has a small private patio, a king bed, a reading chair, a “mini-split” heating/cooling system, mini-fridge, private bath, fresh flowers, and opens on to central interior garden courtyard.

Lotus
The Lotus Suite has one queen sized bed under a perfect dome and one full sized bed under barrel vault.
Its beautiful classical vaulted architecture is built (as are most of our structures) from papercrete (an eco-friendly modern adobe). It is a quiet and private room with two adjoining bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other has a full-sized  bed. These rooms are separated by a curtained arched doorway. As with all of our rooms, the Lotus suite has a private bath with shower. There is an additional vanity with a sink the second bedroom. It offers a micro fridge in each room, romantic faux fireplace, a reading chair, a mini-split heating/cooling system, and fresh flowers. Opens on to central flowering courtyard.

Ocotillo
This room is named for the ocotillo plant which flowers with a burst of color at first rain and is the sentinel of the desert. This quiet and private room has a queen bed, private bath with shower, mini fridge, Air conditioner/heater unit, fresh flowers, local art, and opens to central courtyard.

Sanctuary
The Boquillas Room features handmade artesania from our neighbors in Boquillas (BO-KEY-YAHSS), Mexico, as well as golden curves and antique stained glass. This quiet and private room has a queen bed, private bath with shower, mini fridge, electric fireplace, A/C, and fresh flowers. The Boquillas Room opens to our central interior courtyard

Turquoise
The Turquoise Room is a quiet and private room with a triple vaulted ceiling, a queen bed, a reading chair, an electric fireplace, mini split A/C and heat, fresh flowers, local photography, a mini fridge, a private bath with domed ceiling and our version of a stained glass window in the colorful shower. The room opens to the interior garden courtyard, and on the west side to an adobe-style private back courtyard with a sunset view.

Sapphire
The jewel of the garden, the hand-built Sapphire Room has a domed ceiling, king bed, romantic electric fireplace, mini split A/C and heat, micro fridge, fresh flowers, reading chair, and a private bath that also has a domed ceiling. The room opens onto the interior courtyard with fountain, and has a private back courtyard with a sunset view.

Orchard
The Orchard Room is a spacious, color-filled room in a very private setting near our small fruit tree orchard. It offers one king bed, It offers one king bed and a full size trundle bed/couch with a single bed pull out. Also includes a mini fridge, an electric tea kettle, with an assortment of teas and hot chocolate mix, A/C, and fresh flowers. The large bathroom has a rain shower, a nine drawer vanity and a separate small room for the toilet.
