【Tour Policy & Participation Conditions】


■ Required Equipment

・Waterproof and warm outerwear & pants
・Waterproof walking shoes　※Snowshoes are worn over your shoes
・Hat (beanie, knit cap, etc.)
・Goggles or sunglasses
・Waterproof gloves
・Backpack (used to carry snowshoes when walking through tunnels)
・Snacks / energy food

※Snowshoes or light crampons, trekking poles, gaiters, and headlamps are included in the tour fee.

※Rental equipment is available upon request at the time of booking.

■ About Reservations

・Reservations made after 12:00 PM on the day before the tour date cannot be accepted due to guide scheduling constraints. 

■ Payment Policy
・All guests are required to register a valid credit card at the time of booking.
・The tour fee will be charged to the registered credit card one day before or on the day of the tour.
・If the credit card cannot be verified, or if we do not receive a response to our inquiry within a certain period, your reservation may be canceled.

■ Special Discount
Save 20% when you book the Kamikochi Tour together with either the Sanbon-taki Falls Tour or 【Private Tour】Norikura Ice Fall Snowshoe Tour
 or the Zengoro Night Tour.

■ Cancellation Policy
・Same-day cancellation: 100% of the tour fee
・Cancellation 1–3 days before the tour: 50% of the tour fee

※If the tour is canceled due to bad weather and Raicho determines that the tour cannot be conducted, no cancellation fee will be charged.
※Cancellation fees apply only to the tour fee and do not include rental equipment fees.

■ Tour Operation & Safety Policy
・Tours may be canceled at the guide’s discretion in case of severe weather conditions (heavy snowfall, strong winds, blizzards, avalanche risk, etc.).
・Participants may be refused participation even on the day of the tour if they are deemed to have insufficient equipment, poor physical condition, or if safety cannot be ensured.
・For safety reasons, all participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times during the tour.

■ Health & Participation Conditions
・Pregnant participants are not allowed to join the tour.
・Participants with pre-existing medical conditions may be refused participation depending on the condition. Please consult us in advance.
・Participants who have consumed alcohol are not permitted to join the tour.
・If a participant appears unwell on the day of the tour, participation may be refused.
